The Advent Brunch invites all women of the parish and the Boardman community to gather for a peaceful and meaningful morning of reflection and fellowship. Amid the busyness of the Advent season, this special event offers an opportunity to pause, renew our spirits, and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Erica Galvin as our featured speaker. A lifelong parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena, Erica currently serves as the parish’s Diocesan Pastoral Associate, having previously served as Communications Director.
Erica’s reflection, #MaryofNazareth, invites us to consider a fascinating question: What might Mary have shared on social media if it had existed at the time of Christ’s birth? 

This year’s designated charity is Comfort and Hope, an organization that provides birthday bags, holiday gifts, comfort blankets, and support to foster children, young adults, elderly caregivers, and families experiencing difficult times. In support of this wonderful charity, we are collecting donations of personal hygiene products and toiletries, card games, snacks, socks, soft blankets, and other thoughtful items suitable for teenage boys and girls. Items should be small enough to fit into a tote bag. Your generosity will help bring comfort, encouragement, and joy to those who need it most.

This year’s brunch will be catered by Gianna’s Catering, adding a special touch to our morning of fellowship.

Each hostess will decorate a table for eight in her own unique style, creating a welcoming and beautiful setting for the occasion. The Advent Brunch Committee will provide a thoughtfully crafted centerpiece for each table, which hostesses may keep as a thank-you gift. Each hostess is responsible for providing her own male server.

Hostesses are welcome to fill all eight seats at their tables. If additional seats are available, the committee will gladly fill them with women purchasing individual reservations.
Individual seat: $18 per woman
Table of eight: $144
