Ministers are needed at each Mass to present the bread, wine, and the people’s offerings during the Preparation of the Gifts. No special training is required for this ministry.

Family members of the individual for whom the Mass intention is offered are encouraged to arrive early and notify the ushers of their presence before Mass.

At times, family members may be unavailable or unable to attend. In these cases, parishioners may be invited before Mass to participate in this ministry. While this role offers an opportunity for deeper participation in the liturgy, anyone who does not feel comfortable presenting the gifts may politely decline.
