Offered on the main campus of Franciscan University in Steubenville as well as in multiple satellite locations across the U.S. every summer, the SYC is a unique weekend event designed to be a powerful encounter with our Lord, rooted in the Sacraments and aided by live music as well as engaging keynote speakers. The Franciscan University Summer Youth Conference is similar to ENCOUNTER and the NCYC, but is also distinct from each of those experiences. It not only provides the inspiration to live our faith more fully and authentically, but also provides the practical tools we need to do so on a daily basis. Approximately 2,500 youth will gather together at Franciscan University for the conference we’ll be attending, but by the end of the summer, tens of thousands of Catholic teens will have experienced this year’s SYC.
