Parishioners of St. Catherine who have a special gift for reaching out to those in need are invited to consider becoming part of this ministry. During times of illness, hospitalization, or extended care, ministry members offer comfort, prayer, and a caring presence, working in support of the ministry of our priests and deacons.

Ministers visit parishioners in local hospitals and nursing homes, helping them remain connected to the parish community during times when they may be unable to attend Mass or participate in parish life. A training session is provided for those interested in serving in this ministry, covering procedures, expectations, and responsibilities.

If you have a loved one who is hospitalized or residing in a nursing home and would like a parish minister to visit them, please contact the parish office. Due to HIPAA privacy laws, the parish is not always notified when a parishioner is hospitalized or admitted to a nursing home.
